Weight loss with Hypnotherapist Mike Uttley

Do you want to lose weight? I can help!

The most common cause of being overweight relates to the individual's attitude to food - it’s not just a matter of choice but also a matter of conditioning laid down in childhood and throughout life. Your attitude to food and eating is the most important means of losing weight and that is where hypnotherapy comes in. Under hypnosis the subconscious can be allowed to form fresh perspectives on how, what, when and where you eat. It’s not so difficult once your subconscious better understands the role of food.
Old childhood behaviour patterns are updated so that food is not used for comfort at times of stress, making the task of your losing weight so much easier. You gain control over your eating habits as your shape changes to a more healthy you.

Many people don't realise that we have become conditioned to eating refined carbohydrates as a large part of our diet. Much of the food advertising generated today is aimed at selling us low fat products. Convincing us that this is a 'Healthy Option'. It is completely misleading. What they don't tell us is that the carbohydrates they are selling us get converted into sugar very quickly after they enter our bodies.

Why is this important?

It is important because when we eat more carbs than we need all that excess sugar is converted into fat and stored on our bodies! Most overweight people are coming at their weight problem from completely the wrong standpoint, eating low fat this and slimline that. They really are wasting their time and money by eating all this processed food that will not help you lose weight.

What do I know?
I know that I lost 42 pounds by reducing my carbohydrate intake. I would not suggest we stop eating carbohydrate completely but by making easy changes to how we think about carbs and their relationship to our body weight we can have the healthy shape and weight that we want!

P.S. I KEPT THE 42 POUNDS OFF AND WEIGH LESS THAN I WEIGHED 25 YEARS AGO!
